Ashley grew up in Southwest Michigan and joined Clearwater Financial in 2018 as a career exploration opportunity through Otsego High School. She quickly realized that financial advising was her future career. 
 

After the career exploration program ended, Ashley continued her path on the Clearwater Financial team while attending Western Michigan University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her degree in Personal Financial Planning in 2022 and was named the Department of Finance and Commercial Law's 2023 Presidential Scholar. 

After graduation, she began the journey of completing the certification requirements to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ mark, and achieved the designation in March of 2024. 

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
